invisible links in Movie Maker

Can anyone tell me why the links under the headings, 1. Capture Video, 2. Edit Movie etc. are invisible. When I hover over them they are definitely there but I can't see them.

You say they are invisible but you can see them ? ?

Do you mean the 'capture video' is grayed out?

What I mean is I think they are the same color as the background, therefore they are invisible. When I hover over them the little hand appears indicating something is there. If I click on them they will activate the command.
I've tried changing the system font colors but this doesn't seem to help

Have you done anything to the registry recently?

Not really. I've run a registry fix program but it was doing this before I ran the program. I thought the registry fix might help

Which version of WMM are you using?

I think it's version 5.1, how can I verify

Update it to version 2.1 from Microsoft update
