Installing a secondary hard drive.

I installed a secondary hard drive, but I can't see it in My Computer. I can find it in the device manager. I have had a different one in there before and it worked just fine, but now with this one I can't find it.

click START > RUN > type in "compmgmt.msc" without the quotes > on the left hand side, hit the + sign to the left of "Storage" (if you dont see a sub-menu underneath it already.)> select "disk management" > on the bottom right hand side your new harddrive should be displayed. > right click it, select "format."

you will be able to use the drive once windows is done formatting it.
