Have you tried Support at the Toshiba website?

I tried looking for your system while I was there finding an updated driver for my own Toshiba system, but didn't get a chance to get back to your system.  I will try again for you if I get a chance tonight, but you might try their website, too.

laptops are very difficult to work on. if you havent done anything like this before then you might want to take it to a shop.

Yes, laptops are difficult, but I know a couple of non-computer guys who I'd trust to direct because they're just good at takin' stuff apart and putting stuff back together --correctly.
