    Codec Help.
    « on: March 14, 2008, 04:47:34 AM »
I have recently downloaded video file torrents of a particular cartoon, and uploaded then to utorrent, and then when I was about to play them in Windows Media Player, I found there was an error stating I didnt have a codec to play the file.
So then I went to download Divx, and did so successfully.
I went to play the video again, but it still didnt work, and came with the same error message. Please help!
(Oh, and I want these videos to work in windows movie maker :P)
    Thank you so much.
P.S, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I'm not too good with computer lingo and I felt this was the right forum DX

      Ok, thankyou!
But the thing is, DixV worked perfectly fine before.
I was adjusting default settings on my computer, perhaps this is the cause? If so, how do I access the default settings? (obviously I have no idea :))
