    My music file names (wma, mp3 etc....)
    « on: March 17, 2008, 04:22:21 PM »
    Before I did the system restore on my computer all my music had the type of file they are in the name. For example, when I went into my music folder a song would be call  blahblah.mp3 or .wma. Now its just the name and no file extension, how do I get it back to the way it was.

      You didn't mention what Windows you're using so I will assume XP.
      Open any folder.
      Select Tools --> Folder Options.
      Select the View tab.
      Find where it says "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck the check box next to it.
      Apply and OK.
