ip address. investigation

someone got my debit card # and purchased a bunch of stuff on the net. i have the ip address from where the purchases were made. can i use that to find out who did this?

    mike_96_ws6....If I were you , I would give that information to your local police ...they have all the resources to track down the perpitrator .

    Good luck on busting the criminal! Dl65 is right... Take the information to your local police station... They can track him/her down...

    i called the local police who reffered me to the fbi who reffered me to a secret service agent. i called him but got an answering machine. he hasn't returned my call yet. maybe tommorrow. i'd like to nail this crook. ;)
