How do you access IE History for Precaching Project?
« on: March 24, 2008, 04:12:09 PM »
I am trying to find a way to interface with the Windows IE History to use the list of URLs to determine which websites should be added to an Offline Cache for mobile users.

When you look in C:\Documents and Settings\SMunz\Local Settings\History from the windows view you see a calendar looking icon for Today and last week. And when you click on these items you can open up a list of the URLs as shortcuts.

When looking at this path from the command prompt I would have expected to see these hidden items even when searching for hidden items.

Is there a way to access the history (guessing a database) to export the URL contents from them to add to a programs focus that will read in a list of URLs and PreCache those sites for Offline Viewing?

Or is there an easier method of automating a list of PreCachable web sites, than reading in the History Log?

Thanks,
Dave
