i cant find my mhz chip in my computer

how can i upgrade my 600mhz if i can't find the *censored* chip
-( i found a battery the only thing that comes out ) ???

    bossman...I certainly dont wish to downplay your enthusiasm ,but if you dont know where the existing processor is located ......do you really think it advisable to be considering removing your cpu.......
    Why dont you look at your MOBO ( motherboard) manual.....and it will show you exactly what all the things are that are mounted on the MOBO and provide you  lots of info .........If you cant find your MOBO manual ...look it up online ....I'm sure you'll find it there .....and you will learn a lot about your system ......
    Please dont just jump in there and start pulling out anything that moves .........
