    Is a 22" monitor worth it

    Hi

    I was wondering if buying a 22" montior for my laptop would be worth the money. I tend to game alot but i do other things aswell.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    I'd make sure the laptop's video chip supports the native resolution of the monitor first...

      I'm not sure. The monitors native resolution is 1680 x 1050 and I have a Nividia GeForce Go 7600 Video card. But I don't know what resolution the card supports.

        Well, I'm not a gamer, so I can't really advise you on this.  My guess would be a smaller monitor might a better choice.  Since games are graphics-intensive applications, don't larger monitors put heavier workload on the graphics card, assuming you're using a higher resolution than you would be on a smaller monitor? 

        But, again, I'm just rambling here.  I know we have plenty of gamers in the forum.  So, let's see whether someone will chime in on this discussion.
