    Motherboards/graphics card

    Hi
I was wondering if different motherboards change the speed of the computer.
Like a more expensive motherboard, with lets say with a Quad core in it, is it going to be faster than a cheaper motherboard, with the same processor.

I know that some motherboards can't have some processors on them, like a old motherboard you can't install a new processor on in.

and is PCI slots for newer graphics cards?

    thanks

No, PCI Express slots are for newer graphics cards.

I'll let somebody else answer the question on motherboards.
