http://www.google.com/ now has a black background.  What do you think of it?

I didn't vote.  Your choices for answers were a little too limited.    ;)

Overall, I think Google is very clever with their graphics, you know, all the creative variations of the Google image they use on holidays, etc.

It was only black for a short time on Saturday, the 29th, in recognition of Earth Hour.  When I first saw it, I didn't realize they were doing it for that reason.  That's when I started this thread.

    They are not actually google creations FYI. The vast majority are created by students and competition entries from the public.

    Google sends ads to public schools about a theme and colour scheme etc and the winner recieves a gift voucher and there image is used on the google home page.
