    Is it legal or illiegal?
    « on: April 01, 2008, 10:06:27 AM »
    Hi everyone,

I have a licensed version of visual studio 2005/

I am making an application which required a graph.

I want to know whether it is legal to use a ms office chart activex control version 10 or 11 . I want to sell the application on net.

    Can anyone help me?

    thanks in advance.

You will have to check the license agreement for the activex object in order to see what you can legally do with it.
But I'm betting Microsoft won't like it if you resell their code.

        thanks deerpark.

But, I have not reselling the code. I want to use only their activex control on my application.

I don't know about licence agreement. I have checked but I found nothing about the use of the control.

        can you help me.

        thanks.

Only thing I can think of is to contact Microsoft.
