    RAM question
    « on: April 05, 2008, 08:41:04 PM »
I have a 1 gig stick in 1 slot and a 512mb in another. I heard or read somewhere that the 2 sticks must match to work best. Should I remove the 512 for better results(speed, etc.?) In other words, would 1 gig be better than 1.5 gig?thanks.

I'm not positive, but I am pretty sure you are better off with more ram. Some mb have dual channel support and then you should buy your ram in pairs. But even then I would think you are better off using more ram.

You're definitely better off with more RAM.
Even if your Mobo does support dual channel mode 1.5 GB is still better than 1 GB.
