Error in registry message....

The following message pops up 4 times every time I log on. What does it mean please?

Error in registry for extension "Exchange Extensions;?" The syntax or format of the registry entry is incorrect. Check the registry settings and compare the registry for this extension to other extensions in the registry.

Do you have M$ Office installed? If so, what version?

XP Professional and Office 2003

It looks like a bug in M$ Outlook, which should be solved, if you have all Office service packs, and updates installed.

Hi Broni - did that (no critical or security updates were available as my computer is set to get them automatically). i therefore installed the ones for XP from the custom list. but I'm afraid it hasn't made any difference!
