    Networking XP Professional and Home

    Can you network XP Professional and Home. I set up a netwok on a professional computer and transferred it to the computer with home on it. The home computer shows the professional computer on the network but home will not find the printer installed on the professional. Is there any way around this?

    Is the printer shared?

    Go to the machine with the printer and right click it than pick sharing.

    It may take a few mins to show up.

    Are both machines in the same Workgroup ? ?

          Turn off your windoze firewall and see if it can see the printer now.
