32-bit vs. 64-bit
« on: April 14, 2008, 09:10:48 AM »
Hello!

I am most likely going to buy a computer this spring for the upcoming release of Age of Conan. I currently have a 7-year old computer that is clearly showing it's age.

I'd like this new computer to be able to handle the next-gen games for years to come. I get so many mixed reviews about windows 64-bit vs. its 32-bit counterpart. Now I know that Age of Conan is geared towards high-end computers and it even states that it takes advantage of 64-bit processors. But at the same time I want a stable system; something that may not be possible with Vista 64-bit right now.

My question is, is it worth investing my "future" computer into a 64-bit operating system or am I good to go with 32-bit?

Thanks

i doubt there is much difference between the 64 bit and 32 bit versions.
you are talking about differences that your eyes cannot even see.
i've tried both versions and it all seems to operate the same.
