    MICROSOFT WORD ISSUE
    « on: April 20, 2008, 07:30:27 AM »
hi all....sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched the database and cannot find it so here goes..
I recently created an image in paintshop and emailed it to my friend. who has since deleted the image but everytime he opens microsoft word 2000, this image automatically inserts itself into every document I have also deleted the image off my pc so i cannot look to see what the file name was so i can search for it on his pc....as it is obviously there somewhere....is there anyway you can think of to stop it automatically inserting itself into any word document.

His pc is windows xp and his office suite is office2000

    thanks in advance... dave

Does your friend still have the email message you sent to him?  If not, did he save the attachment before deleting the email message?

he did save the picture into his "my Pictures" folder. he then deleted the email and since then has deleted the picture from his pictures folder. I just placed the picyure into an email I did not send it has an attachment...

I did not know there was a signature feature in office 2000.  he would certainly not know about it either...

Did he, at some point, intentionally use that image in a Word file?
