Lately, I've been getting the dreaded blue screens with the following error message:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Technical Information:
***STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x001201c3, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xAF771B6)
Each time, it says that a memory dump occurs, that I should make sure to check any recently-installed software and hardware, and that I should disable caching and shadowing on my mobo. I went ahead and uninstalled all software that's been installed in the last month. I checked my mobo's manufacturer website and forums and presented the problem there, and apparently, my mobo doesn't support disabling shadowing and caching. Every so often, the blue screen comes up, and if I'm playing games, my computer would spontaneously shut off completely and instantaneously. When try to boot up my computer again, it will again shut off completely and instantaneously on the Windows boot screen. It takes me about 3-5 tries to be able to fully boot up my computer again.
I've checked online for driver updates, and all my drivers are apparently up to date, yet this problem still persists.
