    Can't Stop The Beeping !!!
    « on: April 19, 2008, 07:32:22 PM »
I can't figure out what the problem is,but several times an hour my computer won't let you click the picture off. It just beeps once. The picture wont go off,and even if you right click on the bottom, and click closed there,it just beeps.
Occasionally it beeps while I'm only typing. I'm having some trouble with my hand turning to the hourglass and freezing up for a while too.
I just got done removing a CD that I had been downloading craft information on a few months ago. I never had got finished with it,and it was never took out of the machine until today. A reminder would come up every time I turned on the computer, asking if I wanted to work on it,but I'd always click No. After I took the CD out today it asked if I wanted to delete it from the computer, and I said yes. After that,it seemed to be working alright. Wishful thinking,I guess.     HELP!!!! :'( ???

Just wanted to let you know, that I think my problem ended up being from-EXPLOIT and JS DOWNLOADER AGENT  viruses. I have AVG to prevent getting viruses, but the sign telling about it didn't come up until the beeping had been going on for about a day and a half. ???
For those of you that ever use YAHOO ANSWERS--I think that's where it came from.I had asked a question, and got an e-mail that said it had been answered. I clicked on it,and it made no sense. I got 2 more answers, and noticed their titles were worded differently than the first one. They sounded more like what they usually do. This is what they usually say-YOU HAVE A NEW ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.
The other one (that I 'predict' had the virus) said YOU HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM ANOTHER USER.

        BE CAREFUL !!!!!!
