I hope I have the proper forum, 1st time here. When I scan a line document, no color, just a B&W letter type page, it prints out with a grey backgound. How can I get a clean white background, just a B&W line document. Also is it possible to have the scan lamp turn off when not in use? This is a HP Scanjet 4200C scanner. Thanx from Whidbey Island.
