Computer Freezes and Crashes while playing all games

I've been playing Warcraft III TFT. for a long time now without problems. Now whenever I play, 20 minutes later the game completely freezes and the sound makes a continuous loop. My computer doesn't respond afterwards and has to be shut down manually. This happens to every game I play. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

what is your video card and CPU temp? and what are your comp specs?

You should make sure there are no other programs open if the game is in full screen.

Also most new computers have a changeable performance setting (in mine there is power saver, balanced, and high performance). I use mine in high performance when I'm playing games. You should see if you can change the performance setting in yours.

What kind of PC is it?

Maybe you installed something lately that changed the visual settings?
