    My 13 year old daughter was playing with my laptop & changed the password.
    Now she cant remember it - what can i do????

    Don't let her play with your laptop next time and also tell her to be more responsible and most importantly wait for the experts advice.

    On this site, we don't give help to bypass passwords. The "my kid did it" story is a very common one. If you have proof of ownership (receipt, credit card bill, etc) you can contact the makers or take it to one of their dealers.

    It's amazing, isn't it, how these kids, sometimes as young as three or four, or nearly adults in this case, are clever enough to change the password (which involves knowing the old one!) yet are stupid enough to immediately forget it?

    Which was I didn't even bother replying to this initially. I was the first one to read it, I just couldn't be bothered to say what everyone else has said for me  :P
