    autocomplete
    « on: April 26, 2008, 06:37:13 AM »
I know how to enable and disable "Auto complete" but how do I delete the list that I now have when it is enabled.  This "Auto complete" is when doing a search.

    Start>Search>etc.

    Thank you

    Jim

      The windows version is 11.0.5721.5145

It is when I am searching for a file; a pic, music, etc.
I click start>search> the the name of a file.  With auto search turned on I get a listing of all files that meet the file name that I typed in.  I want to delete the entire list.

Hope this is the information that you requested.

      Thanks

      There is no such version.
      Go Start>Run, type in:
      winver
      Click OK.

Download, and install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds. Get "Slim" version.
Read CCleaner instruction here: http://www.jahewi.nl/ccleaner/ccleaner.html, and run CCleaner
It has an option to remove those entries.

I have CCleaner on my computer.  I'll check to see if it is Slim version and run it.

          Thanks

            Broni,

While my computer is checking this I have another question.  Can you recommend a good morphing program, easy to use and preferably freeware?

            Thanks again
