    Keyboard Question
    « on: May 18, 2008, 07:23:53 AM »
I have a IBM thinkpad t-23 It was running slow so I ran a couple of anti-spam and virus programs to clean house. this was the first time i did this to this computer. On the left side of the keyboard there is numbers and such on the u-i-o-p-j-k-l-;,Now when those keys are pressed the numbers and written insted of the letters. this is prob a simple thing to  change but im stumped I checked the manual on line and can't find any thing on it. thanks in advance for any help.

There should be a light on the laptop it indicates whether or not the numlock is on or off.
If you press the Numlock button, does the light change?

What antivirus programs do you have/did you use?
Is your computer still running slow?

Have you tried to see if the keyboard problem persists in Safe Mode?
