Computer keeps shutting down

my computer keeps shutting down by itself. when it reloads, it doesnt do the chkdisk thing it normally does if it shuts down wrongly. i don't have time to do a full system scan with norton before it shuts down again, norton is the only anti-virus thing i have. help??

What operating system is on your computer, and what application are you running when you get the error?

Do you have an ePower PSU in that machine ? ?
That may very well be the issue...
