    Uninsatll Search BAR HELP
    « on: May 04, 2008, 12:22:44 PM »
I just installed Morpheus the Music file Sharing program and did not like it ata all so I uninstalled it.

It left a program in my ad remove programs list called NEED2FIND BAR

When I try to uninstall it a window comes up that says?
    ERROR LOADING C:\PROGRAM 1\BAR 1. BIN \ND2FNBAR.DLL

And right under this it says?
THE SPECIFIED MODULE COULD NOT FIND

So I though maybe I have to stop it from running first so I checked my  msconfig startup list and thank God it is not in there.

But it is on my Internet Exploreor Search Bar.
It says Morphius  and it is a Search Bar it attached itself to my internet explorer.

Please please how do I get rid of it and uninstall it
    Thanks

Since no one has replied to your request, I will take a shot.  Hopefully you have it solved by now, but if not, did you look in search to see if it was listed on C drive?  I assume you are running an anti-virus and spyware program.  I think this may be a bug.  There are some Total Uninstall programs that may help you. I personally use Revo Uninstaller that works for me.  You can check it out at: http://www.revouninstaller.com/  OR down load Hi Jack This, run it and post the file here and let Broni or another mal ware specialist take a look.  Good Luck.

You may need to re-install morpheus and un-install it in Add/Remove programs...
How did you uninstall it the first time ? ?

The first time I uninstalled the Morphius program I did it in my Ad Remove Programs list and it worked.

But on my Internet Explorer it has a Secound Search Bar that say Morphius.
You know like the Yahoo Search Bar that is out there that attaches itself to the Browser.

But this one I can't get rid of.
I do see it in my Un install programs list but it wont get rid of it
I did run my Anti Virus and Spy ware program and it did not think it is a bug I gess

Did you try opening the tools menu on ie and clicking manage add ons.  You could disable the Morphius bar.  That doesn't get rid of it but at least it is no longer visible.
