    Copy DVDs with Mac
    « on: May 05, 2008, 09:00:10 PM »
I own a new mac,OSX 10.4,i'd like to copy/edit movies &TV shows that i've burned to disc on my DVR. can someone recommend a program to allow this? Sooo many choices on web,my head has spun off!. I just want to copy, edit out commercials or even blend some shows i've recorded from cable DVR to my DVD player/recorder. Can this be done cheaply or free? thanks!

    Don't you have iMovie preinstalled?

My son just told me about it. I'm not a Mac person. He is.

yeah, iMovie comes on every mac.. It should be able to edit the files with no issues (unless you have them saved in some really obscure format)
