Video Chat Help...

I have a logitech quickcam (http://computermonger.com/wp-content/uploads/Logitech_QuickCam_Communicate_STX_Webcam.jpg), and when i video chat with people who have ichat i can see them and they can see me, and they can hear me, but i cant hear them... why?

A few things it could be:

Is their mic plugged in correctly?
Do they have a mic?
Is your volume up?

Check all common sense things first, then post back with what u checked.

Yes, they all have mics (i've tried with multiple people, all on iChat *macs*)
Volumes up, there isn't even any static however, just dead silence..


All options are to the correct spot.. still confused
