Computer has slowed down significantly
« on: May 08, 2008, 06:12:04 PM »
Logging into my Windows XP machine has slowed down significantly and may have been stopped altogether. I went out once, came back and apparently the power had gone out for a bit. When I tried logging into windows, I was able to get in, and I was able to start up Mozilla and such, but I could not really interact with my desktop much, my start menu was very slow, etc. I'm not sure what happened, but what can I do to get more information to fix it.

It seems that other accounts are working okay, just mine is extraordinarily slow when working with the start menu or desktop.

If it's fine on the other accounts it's possible your account has gotten corrupted...
