I just got a new computer and i have no sound in interent explorer

My sound isnt working for internet explorer i have windows 2000 and internet explorer 6 any suggestions

Are your speakers turned on?  What sound card do you have installed?  Is it onboard sound or a sound card?  Is your sound card driver properly installed?

    Did you try going into Control panel, then clicking onto Audio Sound Devices, checking thru each tab, then running the troublshooter in the Hardware tab?
