Trouble with links in Internet Explorer
« on: November 06, 2007, 12:34:33 PM »
Lately my browser has been displaying a red "X" through the thumbnails. I play fantasy football on NFL.com and cannot get to my leagues. I was once able to see the icons for my leagues but now they have an "X" throught them. Then when I click on the icon it takes me to a page that says Internet Explorer cannot display this page. I can only access it from the work computer. It is getting old. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283807

It's always a good idea to have another browser, like Firefox, to see if same thing happens.

I had that problem with Yahoo Games, it wouldn't let me play pool.  I contacted them about it, they told me it was Java.  I needed to download a new Java (?)

    Hello Quasimodo

Have you tried resetting Internet explorer?

I doubt it will help, as you're having the same problem with Firefox but it can't hurt to try.

(in IE) > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset

Next, remove Java from your system (control panel > add remove programs) then download the latest version from here.

    See if this helps

In Firefox go Tools > Options > Content and is “Load Images Automatically?” checked?
