How to swap between keys on the keyboard

I want to swap my Shift & Space keys to some other key. B'coz they both are not working. can you provide the solution asap. I am using Win XP as the OS.

Plz. provide the steps as well.

Do you mean that you want to PHYSICALLY take the keys off? (I hope not...) Or do you want to change the way that they work on your computer?
