Upgrading windows 98 to 98se

Is it possible to download updates for W98 that would upgrade the system to 98se.
I'm trying to connect a wireless router already in service on 2 exsiting computers running XP. But to my dimay all the usb adapters I have found will not work on W98 first edition only W98SE

no u gota buy the upgrade. try ebay. ive seen them go cheap before.
