mines showing as an explanation mark because i disabled the link scanner. the toolbar you were talking about is not the link scanner, it is simply a search toolbar. they ask you if you want to install it during the AVG 8.0 installation, i politely declined. the link scanner, on the other hand, scans links provided by search engines. here are two pics i took, one with the link scanner enabled and one without. in the photo with the link scanner enabled, the AVG dialog box (as shown) will appear if you hover the mouse over the AVG link scanner icon.
