NEEDING HELP WITH FAKEALERT VIRUS
« on: June 06, 2008, 07:18:04 AM »
I HAVE REMOVED THE FAKEALERT VIRUS USING PCDOC ALSO I REMOVED DSSAGENT VIRUS WITH PCDOC.
I went to this website     http://www.411-spyware.com/remove-trojan-fakealert#deletefiles

and checked for all these files and processes on my computer but there is nothing there from the virus.

My problem is still I cannot change my background display and parts of my start button is missing.  If I switch users I have everything but still it doesn't seem to run very well.  Also I CANNOT USE SYSTEM RESTORE PAST THE POINT OF THE VIRUS DATE!!  HELP!!  NOT EVEN IN SAFE MODE WILL SYSTEM RESTORE WORK
