HELP
« on: June 11, 2008, 12:00:35 PM »
I'm trying to upload a .xlsx document onto a website. I need viewers to be able to edit sections of the document without downloading the document onto their computer. I also need each viewer to have his/her own copy of the file, such that, if one person edited their copy, it would not affect anyone else's document. Is there a way to do this?

Let's just talk about terminology a bit here.  A .xlsx file is an Excel 2007 file.  Excel is spreadsheet software; Excel files are called workbooks, which contain worksheets.  "document" is a Word file, not an Excel file.

Are you putting an entire workbook on the web or just one worksheet of a workbook or certain cells of a worksheet?  See Excel and the Web
