canon printer
« on: June 12, 2008, 10:01:24 PM »
my canon printer keeps sending me error messages.  It either tells me i'm out of paper (and its not)  or that it is having a problem sending the document to the printer.  It was working just fine and then 1/2 way into a paper it stopped and hasnt printer a thing since. not even a test sheet. It will let paper pass thru when I turn it off ond on but wont print anything on it.  I have unplugged it and then turned it back on.  I have disconnected the scanner and ran the cord directly to the pc. I have deleted it and reinstalled. I have downloaded a new driver from canon. It is old (a canon bjc210) and I would just get another but I just bought $80.00 worth of ink  lol   figures     lol                 if you can help e mail me  ****** (email address removed)             thanks

Have you checked to see if everything inside the printer is working (e.g. Ink are put in properly, paper feed is undamaged, ect...)

That would be my first thought, perhaps it's jammed up. Then again, the BJC210 model is quite old (pre-Windows XP), it might just be dying.
