    printer drivers for Ubuntu

    i could not install cannon network printer for my Ubuntu O/S. How can i do it. also i want know about PDF. how can i download suitable printer PDF.

    What model printer?  Have you checked the Canon website?

    For .pdf files download and install Foxit Reader.

        Does the printer have a model name?  Like Pixma, or something like that?

        Is it multifunction, like a printer/fax/scanner, or is it just a printer?

        Inkjet or laser jet?

        OK, I found it -- I think! -- what I found is an office grade multifunction printer/copier.  Let's see what else I can find.

        I found an English-language Linux driver HERE.  In the selection boxes, choose Linux for the Operating System, English for the language, and click the Submit button.

        Now, I know you probably have more questions, but it's not my area of expertise.  Let me see if we can find out how to install this driver to Ubuntu Linux.
