My DVD-RW Drive Has Crapped Out On Writing

Hello. I keep trying to burn a cd and its always worked before. I dont understand but it gives me a read error everytime. I have tried four different programs now. I have a celeron m 1.6 ghz processor. 1 gig ram. I really dont know what else to do and you guys have helped me immensely with previous virus problems. By the way my DVD drive is a matshita. Thanks for reading

Is it with the one DVD or all DVD's?

It is with several different brands of cd-r's. Havent tried burning a DVD.

Can it read any disc?

Try going to the manufacturer's website and reinstalling the drivers for the CD Drive.

It reads discs no problem. Should I still try to reinstall the driver?
