Adding entries to the Windows IME
    « on: July 01, 2008, 09:02:07 AM »
When using Windows IME to input Chinese characters, there are certain rare characters that are not available from the "dictionary" (is it what it is called?).
Is there any way we can create and add those characters into the "dictionary"?
When doing some text editing, I often run into the situation where I have to create the  characters using Photoshop then insert them as objects to the document.
But by doing so, when the document is printed out, those characters that are actually objects do not appear as natural as the neighboring characters although they are created using the same font.
Any idea? Or any other input suggestion other than the IME?
    Thanks.

A similar situation is with the font sets.
Even some not-so-rare characters are not always available in all font sets.
How can we edit the font set to include those "missing" characters?
      Thanks.
