We recently bought a HP Pavillion a810n that was advertised as having a Athlon 3300+ 2.4 GHZ processor. When I checked the system info it is listed at 1.81 GHZ. I called HP and their answer is that the processor will idle at lower speeds when not required but would auto speed up if needed ( reasonable answer). What concerns me is that no other computer I've had listed anything but top speed. The General Info tab is not an active screen so there is no real time updating: Question: Do I have a 1.81 GHZ processor or a 2.4GHZ processor as advertised. thanks
