Enable Property button

on network connection icon when i right click on, PROPERTIES is showing as disabled....

I want to enable it..
Can any 1 help me plzzzzzzzzz

I am using Xp Operating system.
Tht property button itself in a disabled status.
Ya its my own PC and nothing like this happen before this...

Its on the network icon button, its the second image....
