new pc troubles
« on: July 09, 2008, 02:16:29 PM »
hey all,

I'm having boot problems, computer starts for about 4 seconds then dies out..  i was thinking psu problems but I'm not sure. Had the problem before, and i noticed the northbridge heatsync was getting unusually hot so a installed a movable fan into my case and gave the northbridge some better airflow, this worked for a while but a few nights ago I turned off and in the morning it wouldn't start...

my pc is practically brand new,

Q6600
2Gigs ram
7600GT
2 case fans 1 cpu fan 1 moveable fan
nforce 650i ultra mb
750w psu
250gigs sata

any help is much appreciated
