re-installing win98
« on: February 24, 2005, 01:19:28 PM »
 :-/

Daughter somehow killed machine - have formatted C to re-load win98 but at 30% it says I have interrupted installation and cannot load some .cab files (error 65).

Any hope for me?

Thanks

How large is this hard disk? (Memory capacity) Also, has this CD been used before? Also, is this an original Windows 98 CD, or a burnt copy?

My first plan of action if a CD doesn't load is to clean the CD and try again - Greasy marks on CD's have halted several of my installations
