    Ok now these logs are from my aunts pc (having the same problem) Now I dont know about you but I dont see how this is happening as the only problem seems to be is if you left click the volume control it freezes the taskbar but if you right click it you can go to volume control and it will work without freezing.\

    NOTE:I don't have access to my uncles pc right now so because of that I'm using my aunts pc seeing as they both have the same exact problem ;(.

    Since this is different computer, I split your post from the other thread.
    You don't follow instructions....

    1. Download SUPERAntiSpyware Free for Home Users:
    http://www.superantispyware.com/

        * Double-click SUPERAntiSpyware.exe and use the default settings for installation.
        * An icon will be created on your desktop. Double-click that icon to launch the program.
        * If asked to update the program definitions, click "Yes". If not, update the definitions before scanning by selecting "Check for Updates". (If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download and unzip them from here: http://www.superantispyware.com/definitions.html.)
        * Close SUPERAntiSpyware.

    PHYSICALLY DISCONNECT  FROM THE INTERNET

    Restart computer in Safe Mode.
    To enter Safe Mode, restart computer, and keep tapping F8 key, until menu appears; select Safe Mode; you'll see "Safe Mode" in all four corners of your screen

        * Open SUPERAntiSpyware.
        * Under "Configuration and Preferences", click the Preferences button.
        * Click the Scanning Control tab.
        * Under Scanner Options make sure the following are checked (leave all others unchecked):
              o Close browsers before scanning.
              o Scan for tracking cookies.
              o Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
        * Click the "Close" button to leave the control center screen.
        * Back on the main screen, under "Scan for Harmful Software" click Scan your computer.
        * On the left, make sure you check C:\Fixed Drive.
        * On the right, under "Complete Scan", choose Perform Complete Scan.
        * Click "Next" to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
        * After the scan is complete, a Scan Summary box will appear with potentially harmful items that were detected. Click "OK".
        * Make sure everything has a checkmark next to it and click "Next".
        * A notification will appear that "Quarantine and Removal is Complete". Click "OK" and then click the "Finish" button to return to the main menu.
        * If asked if you want to reboot, click "Yes".
        * To retrieve the removal information after reboot, launch SUPERAntispyware again.
              o Click Preferences, then click the Statistics/Logs tab.
              o Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log.
              o If there are several logs, click the current dated log and press View log. A text file will open in your default text editor.
              o Please copy and paste the Scan Log results in your next reply.
        * Click Close to exit the program.
    Post SUPERAntiSpyware log.

    RECONNECT TO THE INTERNET

    RESTART COMPUTER!

    2. Post new HJT log.

      *** You need to update Java:
      http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
      Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7
      Uninstall all previous versions of Java through Add\Remove.

      *** Go to Programs and Features in Control Panel, and uninstall AskSBar

      *** Go Start>Control Panel>Add\Remove (Programs and Features in Vista), and...
      Uninstall any of the following programs associated with Viewpoint:
          * Viewpoint Manager
          * Viewpoint Media Player
          * Viewpoint Toolbar

      This program does not do anything bad such as deliver ads or spy on you, but it is considered foistware ("drive-by-install") as it is installed without your consent through programs like AOl, AIM, Compuserve, etc.

      1. Print this post out, since you won't have an access to it, at some point.

      2. Close all windows, except for HijackThis.

      3. Put a checkmark next to the following HijackThis entries (some entries will be checkmarked to disable unnecessary startups; in those cases [marked with *], no actual program will be removed):

      - O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgssie.dll (file missing)

      4. Click on Fix checked button.

      5. Restart computer in Safe Mode (keep tapping F8 key, when your computer starts, until menu appears)

      6. Open Windows Explorer. Go Tools>Folder Options>View tab, put a checkmark next to Show hidden files, and folders.

      7. Delete following files/folders (if present):

        Very good :)

        Your computer is clean

        1. Download, and install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds. Get "Slim" version.
        Read CCleaner instruction here: http://www.jahewi.nl/ccleaner/ccleaner.html.
        Run CCleaner.

        2. Turn off System Restore:

        - Windows XP:
           1. Click Start.
           2. Right-click the My Computer icon, and then click Properties.
           3. Click the System Restore tab.
           4. Check "Turn off System Restore".
           5. Click Apply.
           6.  When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this.
           7. Click OK.
        - Windows Vista:
           1. Click Start.
           2. Right-click the Computer icon, and then click Properties.
           3. Click on System Protection under the Tasks column on the left side
           4. Click on Continue on the "User Account Control" window that pops up
           5. Under the System Protection tab, find Available Disks
           6. Uncheck the box for any drive you wish to disable system restore on (in most cases, drive "C:")
           7. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click "Turn System Restore Off" on the popup window to do this.
           8. Click OK

        3. Restart computer.

        4. Turn System Restore on.

        5. (optional) Download, and install free version of ThreatFire: http://www.threatfire.com/. It'll give you an extra protection against malwares. It won't interfere with your antivirus program

        6. Read "So how did I get infected in the first place?": http://www.castlecops.com/postlite7736-.html

        7. Let me know, how your computer is doing.

          Hey broni yes my system is clean but my startbar/taskbar still freezes everytime you click the sound button/volume control. Now I'm no expert but I still think installing avg on both systems when before the install they didnt have this problem then avg must be the culprit but to test that theory after removing the viruses like you told me to I uninstalled avg but the problem was still their on bot computers? Any idea what could be going wrong?

          Here is the best source of what I was  talking about others had had the same problem.
          http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=695139

          NOTE:People keep saying to contact microsoft support but it cost 50$ or whatever now.. I don't know about you but 59$ for a bug thats shipped with vista is rediculous........

          Ha, interesting. I wasn't aware, that this is a real problem affecting some Vista users. After I saw your link, I did some more search, and there are some people having exactly same problem.
          Anyway, we did good cleaning the computer a little, and I'll try to do more research.
          One question....does same thing happens in Safe Mode?

            No the same thing doesnt happen in safe mode as the taskbar seems to go back to the windows 98 defualt just like when youd do safe mode in xp. Idk some theorys appear to be that it was a bug that appeared only to make extra money from vista users as microsoft only gives out a temporary link and password to the hotfix that fixxes this and the fact you have to call/talk to microsofts tech support for 59$..... Anyways I will be visiting family down in New Mexico(yes its in the u.s.a lol ) anyways I will be back next sunday night. tnx all any fixes to this would be appreciated :).

            I wouldn't really go there. It's silly.
            It does affects only tiny percentage of user, in the first place. It must be some conflict with some hardware/software.
            Are both computers (uncle's, and aunt's) identical?

                Ok I dont know exactly which model of sound card they have but each one is Realtek High definition audio(drivers). Also their another problem avg is stuck half way in the update process and wont work. I tried shutting down the processes and restarting them but it still says updating now. Idk what to think about this it seems to be one problem after another since I installed avg. I still think avg caused a incompatibility with vista since you yourself declared this pc clean but it is still having this problem (and after the next reboot after installing avg). And avg hasnt auto-updated 13 days.

                If it's AVG 8.0, uninstall - too many problems with it.

                Get one of these:
