     OK....I am not familiar with flash drives. How much information can you get off your computer? Or do these drives only work when retrieving certain files, one at a time. I mean can you download all your information on one?

      USB flash drives, like all storage devices, come in different 'sizes.' Most flash drives today are in the +/- 2 GB capacity and they go up to a capacity of at least 8 16 GB - maybe more.

      They operate just like your harddrive does - the drive will show up in Windows Explorer and you can save data to the drive or retrieve data from the drive.

      You should note that the most common Flash Drives are around 512 MB to 4 GB and modern Hard Disks usually average around 80 - 320 GB
