    « on: July 15, 2008, 07:18:07 AM »
    I am loading windows xp service pack 2 onto a new HDD.  Windows is finish loading but everytime  I start up I get this message:

    STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}
    The image kernel32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.

    Please help!!!

      Have you tried what Microsoft has suggested for this type of error (error: c0000221)

      http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326687

      hope this helps.

      Cheers
