Hi, Having trouble with windows updates. When i get the new batch to be downloaded, it seems to wipe my internet. It wont allow me to connect thru any option. But the strange is, it still shows a successful connection to my router. any ideas what could be wrong. more info on request

i forgot to add, the only way i can regain access, is by restoring the computer to an earlier time, but as soon as the updates are scheduled. the problem reoccurs

How about a run down of your system? What version windows? What programs have you added lately?

Anti-viruse and malware programs?

Can you go to any other site? What browser?

What color socks are you wearing? Ok not the last one....

have you taken a look at your firewall make sure its not blocking anything important
