help with reformatting

I had to reformat a computer due to problems(viruses). Reformat went find not I can get back on the internet. Keep getting message says network hardware not found. The network card worked before. How do I fix this

    You need to update your drivers. Find out what your network card is and use a working computer to find the drivers. You will probably have to use a flash drive.

    Using another computer, go to your computer manufacturers wesite. If you are lucky they will have a driver download page and you can download the network driver and burn it to a CD. Now you can take your CD to your computer and install the driver.

    Sounds silly but did you remember to re-install your motherboard drivers after the re-install ? ?
