    Virus - where the sound!

    Hi All,

    I have just found this very good site whilst searching for some answers!  Thought i would drop you a line and see what I can find out!

    I am running windows vista and have recently had a (well several) virus' that i hope i have managed to get rids of.  As an extra i re-installed my version of vista.  Everything seems to be running ok with no major losses - unfortunately I do not have any sound!

    Please could you tell me where to locate the soundcard that is installed so I can download the drivers and hopefully put an end to this misery!

    DLoad and install Everest Home FREE....this will tell you about everything in your machine...

        It would help to find out what brand your computer is
        along with the model number.. or release.. etc.

        Usually, each computer brand has a site (like Compaq) and
        you can download drivers for specific model numbers...
        Good luck with searching for drivers..
